Format and organisation
Are the lessons held on-site or online?
Both. You can attend on-site in Tallinn (Tartu mnt 18, the BigBank building opposite Stockmann) or online via Zoom — your choice. Online participation is convenient if you are in another city.
If I miss a lesson, can I watch a recording?
Yes. All lessons are recorded and the recordings are available to participants — you can review the material or catch up at a convenient time.
On which days and at what times are the lessons?
Usually 2–3 times a week in the evening (about 18:00–21:00). Some courses also have daytime groups. We provide the exact schedule on enrolment.
How long does a course last?
It depends on the program (approximately):
• Python course — about 8 weeks
• Data Analysis (Python + SQL) — about 12 weeks
• Software testing / QA — about 6 weeks
• Frontend (React.js) — about 12 weeks
• SQL and MySQL databases — about 3 weeks
What is the language of instruction?
Courses are available in Russian and English — you choose the one that suits you.
Prerequisites
Do I need prior knowledge (for example, Python)?
No. The required basics are covered in the first lessons. School-level math on the topic is enough (TalTech / University of Tartu level is more than sufficient).
Is the course suitable for a complete beginner?
Yes, the programs start from the fundamentals and are suitable for beginners.
Certificate
Do you issue a certificate on completion?
Yes. Upon completing the course you receive a certificate in accordance with the requirements of the Estonian Ministry of Education — electronic (PDF), in Estonian and English.
Practical information
Do I need my own laptop? Is macOS fine?
A laptop is preferable, macOS is fine. If you do not have one, let us know on enrolment — we will find a solution.
